Recognition can be an important milestone for a growing technology business. In 2022, Pamtech Designs and Systems was among the winners announced through the Miss .Africa Digital Seed Fund initiative associated with the DCA Academy and Fempower Initiative.
The initiative supported digital innovation and the participation of women and girls in technology across Africa.
Recognising digital innovation
According to the original announcement, the winners included:
- Based on Science Guidance and Technology (BSGT), South Africa: Grand prize of $5,000 and a media package valued at $1,000.
- Pamtech Designs and Systems: Second-category prize of $1,000.
- The Clicking Generation: Third-category prize of $1,000.
The programme announcement described an initiative that had reached 15 African countries and impacted more than 10,000 women and girls. Winners were also set to benefit from the DCA Academy Boot Camp Accelerator.
