PAMTECH DESIGNS AND SYSTEMS

This is how we solve a client’s problem when they come to us for a tech solution, this is just a thread on how we handle things at Pamtech doesn’t mean it’s the best, so many ways to kill a cat.

1. Get requirements
2. Break Down the solution
3. programing languages and database
4. Estimate costs
5. Send a quote
6. Sign a contract with clear requirements
7. Get deposit/ commitment fee
8. Prototype and testing
9. Sign off requirements
10. Deploy

1. Get the requirements
Have a meeting with a client were they fully explain whatever they need. Any other meeting after the first one is subject to being billed. Some clients have a tendency of just gathering info, new ideas from several candidates.

2. Break down the solution
Within the team we have several creative people, we sit down internally and discuss the fast possible ways to solve it.

3. Programming languages and Database
We then decide which programming languages can give us the best outcome close to what the client need and the most appropriate db to handle clients data. (budget wise) Affordable ???

4. Estimates costs and timelines
The most scary part, fingers crossed. we propose a budget and timelines that are realistic

5. Send a quotation
Nowadays we kind of prepare a fully documented quote, timelines, costs, team working on it and attach a few related work related to what they need. Sometimes we do a simple UI prototype, too much work yes but on other days we just too desperate to be approved.

6. Contract
Its ways good before any work has been done to have very clear requirements, helps out esp for you. for the future, some clients just too naggy

7. Deposit or commitment fee
Depending on the agreed figure, we always make sure we get something to start with. This is to make sure the client is fully in on this. The rest of it is PAY ON THE GO, per function done

8. Prototype and testing
If you don’t have a button to click, don’t show it to the client unless they love the black screen like you. It is good to involve the client every step of the way and test it too ?

9. Sign off requirements
Make sure the list of requirements is checked off and signed ✅ . Crucial stage any other are subject to be billed depending on your relation with client ✅✅✅

10. Deploy
Upon success please do deploy your solution, be sure to add it to your portfolio if you can. ?

I hope you learnt something out of it. You can also share how you do it, we don’t mind changing our way for the best.
